The Miracles Of Jesus

‘The Miracles of Jesus’ explores some of the amazing miracles that Jesus performed. We see how, at times, this involved the faith of the recipient but, also how the faith of others enabled a friend or a relative to receive a healing touch from our Lord. There’s no doubt that many people long to see the miracles that we read about in the Bible happening in the Church today. It maybe that this series may give us some guidelines and inspiration, as to the part we could play in seeing miracles becoming an everyday occurrence.

Living With Jesus

Living With Jesus explores some of the highs and lows of the Apostle Peter’s experiences of following Jesus. There’s no doubt that many Christians identify with the impetuous and vulnerable personality of Peter and his abiding tendency to ‘get it wrong more than he got it right.’ This is the disciple who denied Jesus three times, yet, the one whom Jesus said would become the rock of the church. The story of Peter’s life is one that gives many of us hope in our faith that, despite how many times we may ‘get it wrong’ our God, in his love and mercy, continues to bless us and use us as his ‘hands and feet’ in this world to spread the life changing good news of the Gospel.

Old Testament book of Ruth

A book that was written during the period of the judges. It was a time of moral chaos and national humiliation for Israel. Judges 17:6 tells us: “There was no king in Israel; and every man did what was right in his own eyes.” It was a time of division, cruelty, apostasy, civil war and national disgrace. Further, we're told that famine struck that was to last for ten years. It seems incredible that this beautiful love story could take place at the lowest point in Israel’s history. However, it is not just a love story between Ruth and Boaz but a love story between God and the world he created.

This love story reveals the providence of God in the way He guided Ruth; it encourages us to know that God still cares for us even if we feel bitter towards Him; it demonstrates God’s work of salvation; and illustrates the believers deepening relationship with Him. It covers a wide range of emotions and issues, which, will touch every heart (male and female alike) with its timely message.
