  • Is there an unexplainable gap in your life?
  • Are you searching for answers to the meaning of life?
  • Did you think you had everything you wanted but ... something still seems to be missing?
  • Has the current ‘financial crisis’ caused your world to crumble around you?
  • Are you looking for hope and meaning in your life in an increasingly fragmented world?

The Alpha Course may just be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for to ‘Explore the meaning of life’ and to learn more about, and strengthen, your Christian faith.  Alpha is a relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun environment.
A place where no question is too simple or too hostile to ask.

What is Alpha?

Alpha is a place to listen, learn, discuss and discover. Typically, Alpha in Billericay involves a meal, a talk and discussion.

Meal
There is coffee and cake at the start of each session which gives  people the chance to get to know each other.

Talk These are interesting and thought provoking, addressing key issues of life from a Christian perspective and include multi-media presentation (PowerPoint, DVD, film clips).

Discussion After the talk, we discuss the topic of the evening, ask questions, express opinions and learn from each other.

Alpha Courses are run on a regular basis between ourselves and Churches Together in Billericay

If you’re interested please let us know by email: alpha@billericaychurches.org  or leave a message with the Church Office on 01277  658055

sometimes, there is also a:

Ladies’ Breakfast Alpha in the Halls at Christ Church, Perry Street.

Coffee and croissants, followed by a different topic  each week looking at the life of Jesus, what he did, what he said, the Bible,  prayer and much more.

For more information contact Moira Pidgeon on 01277 652659. Creche included!
