After The Fire

This was a charity concert raising money to support “Just Care” who are working with children in Uganda.

Thanks to the band’s generosity and the selfless giving of those enjoyed the evening we raised well over £700 with more coming in!

After The Fire who were originally well known back in the 70s and 80s and particularly for their monster hit "Der Kommissar", are now enjoying their busiest period since 1982, when they toured the world with Queen, ELO and Van Halen. A new CD of BBC Radio Sessions from 1979-1981 has just been released which truly captures the spirit of the band at their best as a hard working live band. They reformed for occasional gigs back in 2004 and this tour was their third consecutive autumn tour.
