What is it?
The Alpha course consists of a series of talks addressing key issues of life from a Christian perspective. Typically Alpha in Billericay involves a meal, a talk and discussion

Supper There is a light meal at the start of each session which gives people the chance to get to know each other.
    
Talk After the talk, we discuss the topic of the evening, ask questions and express opinions
    
Coffee Listen, learn, discuss and discover. Ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.

Warner will give the first talk (now called: Is there more to life than this?)

The next nine sessions will be held ‘Home Group’ style in a few different locations and at different times. We will use the Alpha DVD which contains two versions of the talks. One is the latest full length talk of approximately 45 minutes given by Nicky Gumbel. The second is Alpha Express where each session lasts about 20 to 25 minutes.

There will be an Alpha Away Day and is likely to take place at either Langdon Hills or Danbury.

An Alpha Celebration Supper will conclude the course at Christ Church where Warner will again be the speaker
