at Emmanuel
The church family of Emmanuel wish you a Wonderful and Blessed Christmas.
We pray that the Joy of the Angels, the Eagerness of the Shepherds, the Perseverance of the Wise Men, the Obedience of Joseph and Mary and the Peace of Jesus will fill your hearts and lives, this Christmas season - and in the year to come.
Sunday 4th December
‘Annual Toy Service’ at 10.45am
We collect toys for Basildon Women’s Aid. Please
bring along a ‘new’ unwrapped gift (especially for
teenagers) to be placed under our Christmas tree.
Sunday 11th December
‘Carol Service by Candlelight’
at 7.00pm
Our Community Carol Service with Readings and Carols.
Including students from The Billericay School
(Followed by Sherry and Mince Pies)
Sunday 18th December
‘Family Nativity’ at 10.45am
Family Nativity for children of all ages.
Organised chaos at times, but always great fun.
Christmas Eve
‘Christingle Services’
at 3.30pm & 5.00pm
An opportunity for the whole family to spend time
together before the excitement of Christmas night.
This service always has a lovely atmosphere -
with a Christingle orange for children of all ages.
‘Communion by Candlelight’
at 11.15pm
The first Communion of Christmas.
(Followed by Sherry and Mince Pies)
Christmas Day
‘Family Communion’ at 10.00am
A relaxed and fun Christmas celebration
for the whole family with Communion.
New Years Day
‘Family Celebration’ at 10.30am
A relaxed and fun service for the whole family
as we celebrate all that a New Year will bring.
